Accessibility and clear information

Our approach

We aim to make the website understandable and usable across common devices and access needs. The design follows WCAG 2.2 AA as an accessibility target. We welcome feedback that helps us improve access.

Reading and navigation

Pages use headings, descriptive links, a skip link and visible focus styles. Service information is available as page text and does not depend on hovering over an image.

The mobile menu can be opened and closed with its control. Escape closes it and returns focus to the control. Interactive evidence and engagement panels include text explaining the selected stage.

Video and motion

The homepage has a silent city video with a play and pause control and a still-image fallback. A still image is used initially on smaller screens and when reduced motion is preferred. Reduced-motion preferences also disable smooth scrolling.

Diagrams include explanatory text. The relationship map uses labelled controls with an explanation for each selection, and its sources appear in a readable sequence on small screens.

Contact request feedback

Fields have visible labels and instructions. Validation feedback identifies information that needs attention. An error or uncertain delivery is distinct from confirmed receipt. If receipt cannot be confirmed, the open page keeps the contact details and reference available for a retry.

The online form needs JavaScript to provide submission feedback. You can contact Everguard by telephone or email instead. Please do not include matter details or sensitive material in an initial website contact request.

Access needs and feedback

If you have difficulty using the website or need information in another format, email info@everguardgroup.com.au or call 1300 613 210. Tell us which page or function caused difficulty and how you would prefer to receive the information. Only include device or assistive-technology details if you are comfortable doing so.

Communication or accessibility requirements for an engagement can be raised during the initial discussion. We will discuss appropriate arrangements for the proposed work.
